We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead Road & Rail operations in Kehl, Germany. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with deep expertise in transport operations , fleet purchasing , and cross-docking logistics , who is ready to drive growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 30 direct reports
• Oversee road and rail transport operations , including FTL , inbound rail , and cross-docking
• Manage a 14,000 m² cross-dock facility within contract logistics
• Drive P&L ownership (€2–4M), budgeting, and cost control
• Lead fleet purchasing and supplier negotiations
• Monitor and improve KPIs across operational functions
• Collaborate with sales to identify growth opportunities and expand service offerings
• Ensure seamless road-rail connectivity and multimodal efficiency
• Maintain compliance with safety, customs, and transport regulations
• Communicate effectively in French and German across regional teams and partners
